Every year for almost two decades, a rotating group of NE TN musician friends have gotten together to form a shotgun(ragtime) band to run two high energy sets of Dead tunes in tribute to their mutual love and admiration of the late great Jerry Garcia and his influence on all of them.  Over the years the band has tightened into a more cohesive group and regular line up, and also added an amazing light show to really take the experience to a new level!  The show has been held at various venues over this long run, but has really found it’s home on the outdoor stage right on the Nolichucky River at USA Raft Adventure Resort in the beautiful mountains of Erwin, TN, and will take the stage for the fourth year at this amazing spot.  (More info at ShadowOfTheMoonBand.com)
