White Water Rafting Experience:
For over 32 years, church youth groups, boy scouts and girl scouts, families,
camps, and many others have been heading to the mountains
to experience Mother Nature at her finest with a white water
rafting trip. These folks come for a variety of different reasons,
some for the fresh air, some for the natural beauty of the
mountains, and some for the thrill of the river. All left
with an unforgettable memory of a wonderful whitewater adventure.
Whitewater rafting is a compelling interactive,
teaching tool for Youth Group Leaders. Not only does rafting
get our youth away from the TV and in to the fresh air, but
they love it, they pay attention, they listen, and they remember
what they have seen, felt, and learned. It provides a metaphor
for life values and a frame reference from which to teach
these values.
