Easy Vacations
When planning your USA Raft river expedition, first pick a
river that interests you and have a date in mind when you
and your group would like to vacation with USA Raft.
Next: Call Us
Trips book fast (especially on weekends and holidays), and
it is important that you call early to reserve your place(s).
Our friendly whitewater consultants are professional travel
planners; they take great pride in making sure the reservation
process goes smoothly and that any questions you may have
are answered promptly.
Remember, if the trip you're looking for is not included here,
ask us about it anyway. If we can't provide the one you need,
we'll do our best to guide you to an outfitter who can.
Trip Format:
Please note that some trips always have a guide in every raft,
while others are guide-assisted. Our Nantahala trip has the
option of either.
Guide-assisted: There is a guide in some
but not every raft. You receive instruction and follow your
guides down in "follow the leader" fashion.
Conservative: In addition to the guide-assisted format,
you are guaranteed a guide in your raft. You must request
Conservative at the time of reservation, not when you get
to the river. Additional charge of $9.00 per person
Trip Categories:
We classify our rafting trips into three categories: Family
Class, Adventure Class, and World
Class. These classifications take river conditions
and choice of craft into consideration.
Family Class: Perfect for younger children
and first-timers. These trips provide a gentle introduction
to rafting for the whole family.
Adventure Class: Action packed and exhilarating,
our Adventure trips pick up the pace. More challenging than
our Family Class trips, these rivers are ideal for older children,
adventurous first-timers, and experienced rafters.
World Class: The ultimate in thrilling outdoor
adventure, this class of whitewater is highly technical, fast,
and difficult. Experienced paddlers only.
