Tax Exemption

If you wish to see if your trip is eligible for you to clam tax exempt status, call us at 1-800-USA-Raft. Some trips do not have state tax, but have a river fee (such as the Pigeon) or a lodging fee (such as the Nolichucky) from which no one is exempt. Some states require groups to pay tax and then fie for a refund from the state at the end of the year. If your trip is eligible for tax exempt status, you must return a copy of your state’s tax exemption for along with your deposit.

Rates

All rates are stated per person. Prices do not include applicable taxes and are subject to change without notice.

Reservations

Regulations by local, state, and federal agencies limit the number of guest we can accommodate each day. To secure the date of your choice, it is therefore best to make reservations as soon as possible.

Some trips fill up many months in advance, while other adventures have openings on short notice. When you have selected your trip date, call us at 1-800-USA-Raft and our reservationists will be happy to secure for you the available adventure of your choice.

General Deposit & Payment Policy

Within ten days of your phone call you must confirm your reservation with a non-refundable deposit. Half day and Express trips require at $5 per person, per day deposit with the balance due 30 days prior to your trip date. Day trips require a $10 per person per day deposit with the balance being due 45 days from the trip date. World Class Rivers, where space is extremely limited, require a $20 per person per day deposit and the balance is due 60 days prior to the trip date.

If you wish to make a reservation after the balance due date of your trip, we are happy to accept money orders, VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express to confirm your reservation. Reservations not paid in full by the balance due dater are subject to cancellations without notice.

General Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because operating funds are committed long before the trip departs, few, if any, of these expenses can be recovered on late cancellations. If you are unable to attend your scheduled trip, fell free to find a substitute to fill your spot. If you must cancel your reservation with more than 30 days notice, we will refund the full amount less the nonrefundable per person deposit. If you cancel with 20 to 30 days notice you will receive a 50% refund; if you cancel with 10-19 days notice, you will receive a 25% refund.

Cancellations with less than 10 days notice will not receive a refund, but you will be issued a percentage of payment as a River Voucher. (River Vouchers are good for one year from the date of your trip.) If you must cancel your trip, please let us know as soon as possible so that you may receive the largest percentage refund or River Voucher applicable.

Because river and weather conditions can change, we reserve the right to move trips to a different section of river or to another river for reasons of safety or low water, in which case price differences will be refunded. No refund or rain checks will be issued unless the outfitter completely cancels the day's events.

Due to the rigors of a river adventure, consumption of alcohol or drugs is not permitted before or during raft trips. Intoxicated or drug impaired persons will be refused without refund.
