LOCATION
All trips will be meeting at our sister company Appalachian Wildwaters.
Where are we?
Many of our rivers are within an easy driving distance of popular
tourist destinations. Asheville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chattanooga
and the Smoky Mountains National Park are all within a few hours
of one of our outposts. If you would like to combine some sightseeing
with rafting, our express and half-day trips work well into
a busy schedule. |

Directions to the New River Outpost:
USA's New River Outpost is located between Fayetteville and
Oak Hill, West Virginia off of US Rt. 19
From the North & West: Columbus, Cleveland, Lexington,
Detroit. Go to Charleston, WV then...From Charleston, WV:
Take I-77(WV Turnpike) to North Beckley/Exit 48. Follow "from
North Beckley/Exit 48" directions below.
From the South & South West: Atlanta, Gatlinburg, Charlotte,
Greensboro. Take I-77 (WV Turnpike) to North Beckley/Exit
48. Follow "from North Beckley/Exit 48" directions
below.
From the East & South East: Charlottesville, Richmond,
Norfolk. Take I-64 to the West Virginia Turnpike (I-77). Go
north on the turnpike to the second Beckley exit - North Beckley/Exit
48. Follow "from North Beckley/Exit 48" directions
below.
From the North East: Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington,
D.C., New York, New Jersey. Take I-81 south to I-64 west to
I-77 north (WV Turnpike). Exit onto the second exit, North
Beckley/Exit 48. Follow "from North Beckley/Exit 48"
directions below.
From North Beckley/Exit 48: Go north on US Rt.19. The New
and Gauley River outpost is 15 miles from the exit. At the
Appalachian Drive traffic light, turn right off US Rt. 19.
At the stop sign make a right, then take the first left onto Broadway Ave. Appalachian Wildwaters is the first left off Broadway Avenue.
From the North: Pittsburgh, Buffalo.. Go to Morgantown, WV
then... From Morgantown, WV: Take I-79 south to U.S. Rt.19
(the Beckley/Summersville exit). Go south on U.S. Rt.19 past
the Summersville area, approximately 40 miles. Continue south
on U.S. Rt.19, crossing over the New River Gorge Bridge. Continue
south to the fourth traffic light where you'll turn left onto
Appalachian Drive. At the stop sign make a right, then take the first left onto Broadway Ave. Appalachian Wildwaters is the first left off Broadway Avenue.
