nantahala half day river tripTrips Available:
Half Day Trip
Eight miles of delightful Family Class rapids through the Nantahala Gorge. The Nantahala is dam-controlled with consistent water levels throughout the season. (Details)

Half Day with Kids
The same fun stretch of river, but geared toward kids and families. Guide-assisted in our new sporty, but stable family rafts. (Details)

Raft & ThrillKat™ Rentals
For the veteran paddler, you can rent the craft of your choice and take on the Nantahala on your own terms. The price includes all equipment and transportation to and from the river. A deposit is required for this trip. (Details)

Nantahala Basecamp Camping:
The Campground is a well groomed facility adjacent to the Welcome Center. It Includes:
platform tents (no electrical hook-up)
open field camping (no electrical hook-up)
picnic pavilion
volleyball court
hot showers
bus parking
Platform Tents: $9.50 per person, per night
Open Field Camping: $6.00 per person, per night
